How to Delete Your Account – Facebook & Google Login Users

At Shabdgaatha, we value your privacy and your right to control your data. If you’ve created an account using Facebook Login or Google Login, and wish to permanently delete your account, you can request it through our manual account deletion process.

Please read the instructions below carefully to ensure your request is processed smoothly.

Account Deletion Request (For All Users)

We currently do not offer a self-deletion feature through the website. However, you can manually request deletion of your account by sending us an email.

Step 1: Send Us an Email

Please email us at:

➡️ Subject Line: Account Deletion Request – [Facebook or Google Login]

Include the following in your email:

1. Your Full Name
2. The Email Address associated with your Facebook or Google login
3. Type of Login Used: Facebook or Google
4. Reason for Deletion (Optional)

Step 2: Verification & Deletion

• Our support team will verify your request for authenticity and data security.
• Once verified, your account and associated data will be scheduled for deletion.
• Deletion will include:
  • Your user profile
  • Login credentials and preferences
  • Any stored personal data or activity logs (except those required for legal or transactional purposes)

🕒 Processing Time: Within 7 working days from verification.

Please Note:-

• Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
• If you’ve purchased services, submitted content, or participated as an author, some records (e.g., payment or royalty-related data) may be retained for compliance with Indian publishing and IT laws.
• You may request anonymization of such data if necessary.

Revoke Platform Access (Recommended)

After your account has been deleted from our platform, we strongly recommend revoking Shabdgaatha’s access from your Google or Facebook account.

For Facebook Login Users:

1. Go to your Facebook profile.
2. Navigate to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
3. Find Shabdgaatha in the list of apps.
4. Click Remove to revoke access.

For Google Login Users:

1. Go to your Google Account.
2. Visit Security → Third-party apps with account access.
3. Locate Shabdgaatha and click Remove Access.
